To Convert an Element to a Geometrically-Constrained Profile

Select the Convert Element to Profile tool.
Select the element or selection set.
In the Tool Settings window:
Enter text height and width or accept automatic size settings (default).

Enter Distance and Angle Tolerances or accept automatic tolerance settings (default).
Click the Settings button.
The Convert Element to Profile dialog expands to display a constraints list.
Turn on the constraints to be applied.
Turn on confirmations, where required.
Enter a data point to initiate the conversion.
Note: The Convert Element to Profile tool also works with a selection set.

Note: Construction elements do not need to be displayed in the view when converting an element to a geometrically-constrained profile.
