To Delete Facets Using a Line

Select the Delete Mesh Facet tool ( Modeling > Mesh > Modify Meshes ).
Select Line.
Select a mesh element.
The mesh element highlights.
Select a start point for the line.
Select an end point for the line.
Do one of the following:

Enter a data point to delete the selected facet.

or
Right-click to deselect the facets.

or
<Ctrl + click> to create a second line and then enter a data point to delete the selected facets.
