To Set User Preferences

Select File > Settings > User > Preferences .
The Preferences dialog opens. Database is selected in the Category list box.
(Optional) Enter description of the preferences in the Name for preferences field.
In the Category list box, select a category that contains a preference you want to set.
The controls for setting preferences in that Category are displayed in the dialog.
Use the controls to set the desired preferences.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you finish setting preferences.
Click OK.
