To Attach an Item to a File, Model, or Reference

In the Explorer dialog File
tab, right-click on the file, model, or reference to which you want to attach the item and select Attach Item.

In the Attach Item tool settings window, select the item type from the Item Type drop-down list.
- (Optional)
In the Attach Item tool settings window, change the values of the properties.

In the Attach Item tool settings window, click Attach.
