To Create a Linear Dimension by Selecting Multiple Elements
- Select the Linear Dimensioning tool.
- Click the Select Multiple Elements icon.

Set the mode to Linear Size.
- Enter a data point to start the selection line over the elements to be dimensioned.
- Enter a data point to end the selection line.
- Press and hold down the <Ctrl> key.
- Enter a data point to start the selection line over another set of elements.

Enter a data point to end the selection line.
Repeat step 6–8 for each additional element you wish to include in the linear dimension.
- Enter a data point to place the dimensions.
