Select the Mesh Unite tool (Modeling > Mesh > Modify Meshes).
Select the first mesh element.
Select the second mesh element.
Enter a data point to construct the union.
Note: Selection sets may be used prior to selecting the tool to unite multiple meshes. Alternatively, you can use <ctrl+data points> to select multiple mesh elements.
