To Interact with a GPS Device

With the GPS device connected and powered on, select
.
The Global Positioning System dialog opens. This may take a few seconds while MicroStation attempts to open the specified serial port and find the GPS device.
If MicroStation detects the GPS device, the red connection status indicator changes to green, and the Track icon is automatically selected.
The specified Tracking Cell is displayed at the geographic location within the active model. The Trail, Data Point at GPS Position, and the Center View at GPS Position icons are enabled.
- Adjust the Tracking, Trail, and device settings.
- Use the tools in the Global Positioning System dialog to interact with your GPS device.
