To Place Cells from a List of DWG Files

  1. Open the Configuration Variables dialog ( File > Settings > Configuration > Configuration Variables ).
  2. In the Search field enter the variable MS_BLOCKLIST.
  3. Click Edit.

    The Edit Configuration Variable dialog opens. The Edit Mode should be set to Overwrite.

  4. In the New Value field, enter the path to the *.DWG files that you want to place as cells, and click OK.

    For example, enter C:\ProgramData\Bentley\MicroStation CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\Test\WorkSets\General\Dgn\*.dwg .

  5. From the dialog's File menu, choose Save.
  6. Click OK to exit the Configuration Variables dialog.
  7. Open the Cell Library dialog ( Drawing > Annotate > Cells dialog launcher).
  8. Click Display All Cells in MS_CELLLIST.

    The *.dwg files are displayed.

  9. Double-click on the cell to make it the active cell.
  10. Select the Place Active Cell tool and position the cell as desired.
