To Publish a DgnDb iModel

  1. Select File > Publish i-model.

    The Publish i-model(s) dialog opens.

  2. Turn on the Create a single package check box.
  3. (Optional) Click the button next to Embed Documents to select documents.
  4. Turn on the Create an iModel version check box.
  5. From the drop-down next to the Create an iModel version check box, select the desired iModel version.
  6. Click Publish.

    The Bentley DgnDb iModel Importer creates an .imodel file.

    Note: The Bentley DgnDb iModel Importer does not process external i-model references. Discoverable non-design files attached to graphical elements with manual design links are embedded into the .imodel file.
