To Export an STL File Using Clip Volumes

Open a 3D file.
Select the Apply or Modify Clip Volume tool.
Select the element to export.
Select File > Export > 3D Modeling File Types > Stereolithography (*.stl) .
The Export STL File dialog opens.

Note: Only the Chord Tolerance in the Facet Parameters is available.
Adjust the tool settings, if necessary.
Accept with a data point.
The Save As Stereolithography File dialog opens.
Enter a name for the stereolithography file.
(Optional) Change the directory.
Click Save.
The status bar shows when STL export is complete.
