To Publish a Package with "Password" Protection

  1. Follow steps 1–4 in the procedure To Publish a Package with “Everyone” Protection.
  2. Select Password from the Protection list.
  3. Type the password to be used to open the packaged file.
  4. Select the Rights you want to apply to the output files.
  5. (Optional) Type an expiration date.
  6. (Optional) Turn on Remove intermediate files.
  7. Click Publish.

    A package is created with an .i.dgn extension in the specified output folder.
