In some cases, you can manipulate the question marks interactively, or you can manipulate attachments that are flagged by question marks to investigate a profile's ambiguities with Constructions turned off.

To isolate the effects of interactive manipulations and make the tool more responsive, the Modify and Re-solve Constraints tool tries to “freeze” as many of the model's degrees of freedom as possible.
