Shear Connector Definition

The Shear Connector Definition command provides the means to define two different types of shear connector, stud connectors and channel connectors. Once the connectors are defined they are located along the top flange of the main members in the Shear Connector Location command.

The Shear Connector Location Command supports a "generic" shear connector that allows composite/non-composite range to be defined without defining an actual shear connector.

Shear Connectors are used in LEAP Bridge Steel to define composite and non-composite regions along a member. Shear connectors are currently not defined by the system. Shear connectors are checked for fatigue.
