• Block: Using the pointer, select two data points to create a block to scale.

• Oriented Block: Using the pointer, select two data points to create an oriented block to scale.

• Element: Using the pointer, select an existing closed vector element to scale.

• Shape: Using the pointer, draw a shape to scale.

• Item: Identify the item whose external boundary will be taken as the image area to scale. For binary rasters only.

• Active Scale: Use the active scale.

• 3 Points:

Scale factor along view x-axis (horizontal), when Method is Active Scale.

Scale factor along view y-axis (vertical), when Method is Active Scale.

(Method set to 3 points only) If on, the image area proportions are maintained.

If on, in Extended Information section of tool settings, the selected image area section is scaled about its center point instead of a selected point.

If on, the image area is copied instead of being cut.
