This option menu lets you choose the type of area to be used to clip the point cloud.

Block — Lets you interactively draw a block to use as a clipping polygon.
- Oriented Block — Lets you interactively draw an oriented block to use as a clipping polygon.
- Oriented Block by Axis— Lets you interactively draw an oriented block by axis to use as a clipping polygon.
- Slab — Lets you draw a 3D volume slab to use as a clipping polygon.
- Shape — Lets you draw a shape to use as a clipping polygon.

Element — Lets you specify an existing (closed) element in the design file to use as a clipping polygon.

View — Lets you select the view to use as a clipping polygon.

Mode |
This option menu lets you choose the clipping mode that is used to clip the point cloud.

Boundary — Used when clipping images. The image is cropped back to the limits of the clipping object.

Mask — Used to mask a section within a raster image. This option lets you place a text box, for example, within the point cloud.
