Open the Catalog Explorer dialog (Drawing > Content > Catalog Service > Place Catalog Content).
In the Catalog Explorer dialog, select the catalog item that you want to place as a cell.
Click Place.
The Place Active Cell tool starts.
Note: If the catalog item is parametric, then the Place Parametric Cell tool starts.
Enter a data point to place the cell.
Note: When you place the catalog item as a cell, the related item type library is also included in the DGN file. You can access the item type library from the Item Types dialog (Drawing > Attach > Item Types > Item Types dialog launcher).
