Drape Element tool settings
Setting |
Description |
Direction |
Specifies the view or axis to drape along. |
Output Level |
Select the Level where the draped element will be placed. Select "From Element" to place the draped element on the same level as the input element. |
Height |
Height in master units of the box used to select points to be considered while draping the element. |
Keep Original |
Keeps the original draping element. |
Use All Reality Models |
Use all attached reality models during processing. |
Max Chord Height |
Maximum Chord height (in master units)is used only with curve elements to convert them to linestring before running the drape process. It corresponds to the tool Facet Curve (Tools/Curves/Curve Utilities/Facet Curve). This parameter is used to define the max chord height to stroke the arcs before draping the line on the reality model surface. |
Generalization |
Applies a generalization algorithm to reduce the number of points on the produced draped element. Douglas Peucker – a well known algorithm to reduce the points on a curve while keeping within a tolerance. Stream Parameter: Uses the four MicroStation stream parameters to perform generalization. See the MicroStation reference guide for details. |
Tolerance |
A value in master units that will be applied to the generalization process. |
