    • Common HTTP Features
      • Static Content
      • Default Document
      • HTTP Errors
    • Application Development
      • ASP.NET
      • .NET Extensibility
      • ISAPI Extensions

    • Health and Diagnostics
      • HTTP Logging (recommended, but not required)
    • Security
      • Windows Authentication (required for eB users to log in with Windows accounts)
    • Management Tools
      • IIS Management Console
  1. Click Start > All apps > Bentley > eB Web Manager. The eB Web Application Manager dialog opens.
Note: Do not resize this dialog. There is a defect that causes the Name field (next window) to be hardcoded to "eb." You need to close the dialog and start again.
  2. In the eB Web Application Manager dialog, select File > New Web to create a new web interface.
    The Edit Web dialog opens.
  3. In the Application Server field of the eB Server tab, enter the DNS name for your application server and click Connect.
  4. Go to the Application tab and enter the following:
    1. In the Name field, enter the project name. If you cannot enter a value in the Name field, it is likely due to resizing the Edit Web dialog. You need to close the dialog and start again.
    2. In the Folder location field, enter c:\inetpub\wwwroot.
    3. From the Authentication drop down, select eB.
    4. From the Data source drop down, select the data source you want to use.
  5. Click the Functionality tab and turn on Work Packaging Services and eB Document Manager.
  6. At the bottom of the dialog, click the Ready to install (click here to start) link. When finished, you get an alert telling you that deployment is complete.

If you are using Internet Explorer as your browser, do the following:

  1. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Compatibility View settings.
  2. Make sure the option, Display intranet sites in Compatibility View is off.
  3. Click Close.
