To Assign Users to Project Template Security Roles

  1. Login in to eB Director with an Administrator account.
  2. Press < F8> to open System Admin (right pane in eB Director).
  3. In the System Admin pane, click the Security icon.
  4. Click Roles > Users. When you expand Users, the roles display: CREATORS, MODIFY, DELETE, and VIEW. The role names are preceded by the ConstructSim Planner project name you created earlier (for example, <project name>-CREATORS. These roles are created for each ConstructSim Planner project that you create against a single eB datasource.
  5. Double-click on a Role. The Role pane opens.
  6. Expand the Persons pane, click Query Person and enter % in the search field. Click the search button.
  7. Drag the desired user(s) to the role. The user is now assigned to the security role selected.
