The Bentley Identity Management Service (or Bentley IMS for short) is the web service (https://ims.bentley.com/) that manages the Bentley Cloud Services profiles (also called Bentley IMS accounts) that exist for the users in your organization, and also verifies the user's credentials when they sign in to Bentley through the CONNECTION Center (https://connect.bentley.com/).

Bentley IMS authentication lets users log in to a datasource using the credentials of their Bentley IMS account.

For the IMS login, the system administrator needs to register the email address at https://ims.bentley.com. When you go to the website, the Create your Profile window opens. Type the information into the fields and click Submit.
