Application Manager is the Application panel in Project
Explorer, where the user can manage different applications and its groups.
Use Application Manager to:
- Drag and drop any
application to move it inside AM.
- Expand and Collapse
Application groups:
- Click on the tree node
(small rectangle) on the left of the Application name to expand(unfilled) and
collapse(filled) the groups of the selected application.
- Right-click on an
application and select either the
Expand All
or
Collapse All options
- Create a new application:
- Go to
Tip: You
can also use the keyboard shortcut
CTRL+ALT+A
- In Project Explorer, in
the Model tab go to Application Manager.
- Once an application has been
created, the user can open it by either:
- Double-clicking on the
application
- .
- Add an existing application
to a project:
- Right-click on the
Application Manager section
- Browse on the file
directory for the
Application
Tip:
Applications are stored under the Applications folder of a CUBE-project.
- Import a CUBE 6
Application:
- Right-click on
- Browse on the file
directory for the CUBE 6
Application
- Rename an application:
- Click on the
application name and rename it.
- Right-click on the
application
- Delete an application:
- Right-click on the
application

Tip: As a
shortcut hit the
DEL key to remove it.
- Select the instances of the
application to be removed in the dialog box:
- By selecting the
Application box you will be removing the
application only from the tree, while when selecting the
Files box the Application is removed from the
disk.
- Click on
Delete
- Create a copy of an
application:
- Right-click on the
Application.
Tip: As a
shortcut use
CTRL+D to duplicate an application.
The duplicated version of the application will be named after
the original one and followed by an index describing the order of
generation.
- Explore the file directory:
- Right-click on an
application
to
open the File Explorer window showing the exact location of the application.
- Access the application
properties:
- Right-click on the
application name
- The properties window
will shows the details of the application selected including name and location.
