Setting | Description | ||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Unit Weight | Density of concrete | ||||||
Strength | Compressive strength of concrete | ||||||
Elasticity | Modulus of elasticity, automatically calculates the elasticity; however, you can manually edit the value. | ||||||
Transform All Prestressing Tendons | Selecting this option indicates that you want to use transformed section properties of all the strands. If selected, the program will transform all strands into an equivalent area of concrete and use it to calculate the section properties. | ||||||
Transform Rebars | Selecting this option indicates that you want to use transformed section properties of rebar alone. If selected, the program will transform the designated rebar area into an equivalent area of concrete and use it to calculate the section properties. | ||||||
Rebar Area | Area of rebar that you want transformed. | ||||||
Ycg | Location of the centroid of the rebar to be transformed. Measured from the bottom of the beam. | ||||||
Tendon ID | The name of the strand types in the strand library. | ||||||
Depress Point Fraction | For draped patterns only. The location of the depress point, measured from the end of the precast beam, as a fraction of the precast length. If equal to 0.5, it indicates a one-point depressed pattern. If it is less than 0.5, it indicates a two-point depressed pattern with the points symmetrical. The value cannot be greater than 0.5. For example, if the value is 0.4, then the pattern is depressed at two-points: 0.4L and 0.6L, measured from the end of the precast beam where L is the precast length. | ||||||
Midspan Increment | For draped patterns only. The distance between rows, at midspan, used in the automatic draped strand pattern generation, typically 2 inches or 50 mm. | ||||||
Debonding Length Increment | Defines the debonding/shielding length increment used when generating automatic debonding. The debonded lengths generated are multiples of the debonding/shielding length increment. | ||||||
Maximum Auto-Debonding Percentage |
Per Row, % Enter the maximum percentage of straight strands in each row that can be debonded. Total, % Enter the maximum percentage of the total number of straight strands that can be debonded. |
