Viewing Design Costs

As you assign compatible units and other cost items to a design, the Design Assistant displays the following cost information in the Design Workspace:

cost of total design
cost of each path (sum of work location costs)
cost of each work location (sum of feature costs)
cost of each feature (sum of unit costs)
cost of each unit, material, or custom cost

The Total Design Cost is displayed in the header bar of the Design Assistant window. Other costs are displayed in the Cost column of the Design Workspace. Cost data is dynamic, so it is updated as you make changes to the design.
