Viewing a List of Available Job Defaults
The Job Defaults folder contains information about all the job defaults that are available to you in constructing designs. It includes all the public job defaults and any private job defaults that you have created. Clicking the Job Defaults folder in the Folder List displays the Job Defaults view, a list of job defaults and the main properties for each-its name, description, type (public or private), and owner. The Job Defaults view can also be accessed with the Job Defaults command on the Go menu.
In the Job Defaults view, you can perform the following tasks:
- View or edit the properties of a job default (see Editing the Properties of a Job Default).
- Delete a job default that you own (see Deleting Job Defaults). Only authorized users can delete public job defaults.
- Open a job default in the Job Default Assistant to view or modify attribute values (see Using the Job Default Assistant).
- Open a job default in the Job Default Assistant and copy it to create a new private job default (see Creating New Job Defaults).
