Reconfiguring the Global Attribute Set of a Job Default
Public job defaults are initially configured with a set of global facility attributes based on the company's data model. With the Add/Remove Global Attributes dialog box, authorized users can reconfigure the global attribute set of a public job default by adding and removing attributes. Other users can utilize this dialog box to make similar changes to their private job defaults. For more information about global attributes, see Global Attributes.
The dialog box provides a list of all attributes from the data model for the facilities in the selected commodity group. A check mark in the box next to an attribute name indicates that the attribute currently has global status. The list also shows the attribute's domain. The domain indicates the type of data that must be supplied for the attribute value or the name of the enumerated set of possible values from which a selection is made. The list below shows several examples of domain names and what they signify:
Domain Name | Data Required for the Attribute Value |

The Add/Remove Global Attributes dialog box is accessed from the Job Defaults menu of the Job Default Assistant.
