To Detach a Design from a Work Request
The link between an attached or associated design and a work request can be broken using the Detach and Disassociate commands.
The Detach operation removes the design's attached status but leaves it affiliated with the work request as an associated design.
- From the list of designs in the My Designs view, select the attached design that you want to detach from its work request.
- From the Actions menu, choose Detach Design.
- Or right-click the design, point to Actions, and then choose Detach from the shortcut menu. Note: You can also detach a design from a work request while working in the My Work view. Make sure the folder of the work request is expanded to show its attached design.
