Exporting a Shapefile (*.shp)

You can export Shapefile from the following:

Ribbon: File > Export > Geospatial File Types > Shapefile

You can create up to three shapefiles (*.shp) for each feature class, depending on the selected elements to be exported. If all the elements of the same feature class are not of the same geometry type (point, line, or polygon) then, the SHP files created will have one of these three suffixes added to their name: _Line, _Polygon, or _Point.

You can use three different workflows for selecting elements to Export to Shapefiles.

Export by feature classes where the classes are defined by the Element Template.
Export by feature classes where the classes are defined by the Element Types attached to the elements.
Export using a Selection Set.

For all workflows, the last step is to select the destination folder where the files will be created.
