AutoPlace Conduit between Multiple Equipment Components and Raceways with Different Voltage Levels
This tasks details
how to use the AutoPlace Conduit option to place conduit between multiple
equipment components and Raceways with different voltage levels.
- Place a Panel in the drawing like the following:
- If the panel needs connect to different layers of raceway, input values in the Conduit_Connections field for multiple conduits that need to connect to different voltage level raceways:
- Draw three layers of raceway in the drawing with different voltage level: Ctrl, LV, MV; and place panels in the drawing like shown below:
- Click the AutoPlace Conduit option to display the following dialog:
- Define the Offset from Raceway value. This value is the vertical offset from the raceway tray. The value can be negative.
- Next define the Virtual Connection Length value. This is the length of the air gap starting at the raceway and entering the vertical segment of the conduit.
- Select the raceway or cable trench.
- Select the equipment component(s) using either a frame box or the Ctrl key. The Raceway Properties displays where you can set the Conduit Type, Voltage Level, Capacity etc. for a single conduit.
- Define the desired conduit properties and click OK. The conduits will be automatically placed in the drawing.
