Create a New "Predefined" level CSB

This CSB will make the vital connection between the CSBs and the ProjectWise datasource.

  1. In ProjectWise Administrator, under WorkSpaces > Managed > Predefined, right on the Predefined level and select New > Configuration Block.
  2. In the New Configuration Block Properties dialog, enter the following as the Name and Description for the CSB then click Apply.
    • Name: BRCM_CE_CONFIGURATION_ROOT
    • Description: BRCM CONNECT EDITION CONFIGURATION ROOT
  3. In the Configuration tab click '+' and select Add Variable.
  4. In the New variable dialog define the following variable information and click Add to add the new variable:
    • Name: _USTN_CONFIGURATION
    • Description: BRCM CE PW CONFIGURATION
    • Locked = Enabled
  5. In the Edit Value dialog that displays, set the following values and click OK:
    • Operation type: '=' - Assignment
    • Value type: ProjectWise folder
    • Value: Browse to the path of the ProjectWise datasource where configuration is imported.
  6. Review the properties and click OK.
