Bentley Navigator

What's New in Bentley Navigator Version 05.05.01.xx

This release of Bentley Navigator includes these improvements and new features:

Clash Detection improvements

In this release, we focused our efforts on improving Clash Detection. In the initial release of Navigator CONNECT, the clash results could be viewed only by the person who created the clash job. In this release, the clash detection system is incorporated into the Issue Resolution Service. Clash results can be shared and viewed by anyone who connects to the same project. The results can be viewed from both Navigator CONNECT and Navigator Mobile, although the clash job can be created only from the desktop. Each clash result has a form associated to it with fields that you populate and add redline attachments, similar to how the punch list feature works. For this update, the form for clash results is not configurable like it is for punch lists; we plan to add this feature in the future.

Suppression rules editor

The suppression rules editor lets you define a set of suppression rules for each clash job to reduce the number of “false positive” or unwanted clashes.

Bug fixes

This release includes several fixes for bugs, especially the issue with sign-in and proxy servers. We resolved this issue by using the proxy settings found in the licensing tool. Navigator CONNECT now works similar to MicroStation or other power platform applications with regards to proxy servers.
