This function allows users to define specific bandwidths ranges for use with the OS/Circuit Manager circuit assignment tools.

Open the Bandwidths Dialog Box

1. From the Bentley Comms menu, select Fiber/Copper/ISP-Setup > OSP > Bandwidths.

   

2. The Bandwidths dialog box opens.

   

Editing a Bandwidth

1. Select a bandwidth from the Bandwidth Definitions list. Highlighting the bandwidth loads the information into the dialog box.
2. Edit the Bandwidth input fields.
3. Click Update to save changes into the spec file.

Creating a Bandwidth

1. Key in a Name.
2. Enter the starting and ending wavelength.
3. Click Add to save the new Bandwidth name.

Deleting a Bandwidth

1. Highlight the name in the Bandwidth Definitions List.
2. Click Delete to remove the bandwidth from the spec file.
   Note: A Bandwidth already used in the network cannot be deleted. In order to delete a Bandwidth from the Bandwidths dialog, all of that particular model of Bandwidth must be replaced in the existing network before it can be removed.
