The connect command connects stray, orphan, or disconnected bundles to enclosures. These elements must be present on the map and not already connected to another entity to be connected.

Connect Duct Elements

1. From the Duct Module menu, select Edit > Connect.

   

2. Select on the map the first duct element to connect.
3. Select on the map the second duct element to connect.
4. The Connect Information dialog box opens.

   

5. Select into which wall the orphaned bundle is to come from the wall pull-down menu.
6. Click OK and the bundle automatically connects to the enclosure.
   Note: The duct distance does not update.

Disconnect Duct Elements

1. From the Duct Module menu select Edit > Disconnect.

   

2. Select on the map the first duct element to disconnect, and then the second duct element. The two duct elements are now disconnected.
