The Break command divides or breaks a long span of fiber in order to insert equipment such as a splice. After selecting the command, identify and accept a break location on the span. When a break is created, the selected span becomes two spans with separate lengths. The length can be adjusted by using Data Capture > As Built > Span Length (if required).
