Delete removes any fiber feature and database record associated with that feature from the extracted fiber record. When deleting a fiber device that is connected to another, you will be prompted as to whether or not you want to delete the open leg to the next device.

Delete a Span Inside a Duct

1. From the Fiber menu, select Fiber-Layout > Delete.

   

2. Select a duct on the map.
3. The Conduit Selection dialog box opens.

   

4. Select the span.
5. Click OK to delete.
