The
Service Manager service will fail to start if the
certificate used for encryption becomes invalid.
If this happens, you can restart the service in recovery
mode and then change the encryption configuration (users will not be able to
log in until the encryption configuration is corrected).
- On the
AssetWise Server computer, open
AssetWise System Management Console and select
the
Service Manager.
- Select the
Encryption tab.
You are asked if you want to restart the
Service Manager service in recovery mode.
- Click
Yes, and then change the encryption
configuration.
