Application Versioning

AssetWise now follows the new Bentley version standards in the format xx.yy.zz, where xx represents the last two digits of the calendar release year, yy represents the major release number, and zz represents the minor release number. From time to time, a fourth set of numbers may appear that represent the build number.

Note: As of this release there are no compatibility issues connecting client applications to a 2023 server using AssetWise version 16.9.x C# API's ("eB.Service.Proxy.dll"), however Bentley strongly recommends update to the newer API and compile your code against it if you intend to run it against a 2023 server. There is no guarantee the 16.9.x client APIs will remain compatible with a 2023 server.

Microsoft Windows Support

As of this release:

Microsoft Windows versions 8 and 8.1 are no longer supported
Microsoft Windows version 11 is supported.
