To Copy a Virtual Item Group

AssetWise provides a copy wizard that can duplicate the complete virtual item structure to a new virtual item group concept. In addition the relationships on the virtual item members can also be copied.

Using one of the search methods, locate and double click on the virtual item group that is to be copied.
The virtual item group detail displays in the Content pane.
Select the Copy icon on the main tool bar.
The Copy Virtual Item Group Wizard opens.
You can accept the number allocated, or type in a new one. Enter a revision number (as required).
Select/deselect the related properties to copy.
Select/deselect the relationships to copy.
Click Copy.
