Before You Create Change Requests
The following are needed to create change requests:
For administrators:
- You must have already defined appropriate change request priorities in the Maintain List Values tables. See Maintaining List Values .
- If a system generated change request number is required, your administrator must have already defined an appropriate numbering mask in the System Defaults. See Defining Default System Settings .
- The object for which you want to add the change request must already be Approved.
- If you want users to create change requests from a template, you must create a change request template and set the Status of the template to Approved.
