Assigning Permissions to Programs
In order to allow users to create Programs, it must first be granted the proper permission, in AssetWise Director.
Follow these steps to assign permissions to the Programs class.
- In AssetWise Director, navigate to System Admin, then select Persmissions.
- Select New Object Instances in the tree.
- Create a new permission named Program.
- Enter the Name and Description for the permission, in the appropriate boxes. For example,
- You can expand the Audit Detail section to display a history of changes to the permission, such as adding and deleting persons and roles, for example.
- You can expand the Persons section and then click Query Persons, to assign specific users who will have permission to create a Program, in AssetWise CONNECT Edition.
- You can expand the Security Roles section and then click Query Roles, to assign specific user roles that will have permission to create a Program, in AssetWise CONNECT Edition.
