Enabling the Windows Integrated Authentication

Windows Authentication must be enabled as a Server Role on the AssetWise ALIM Web Server, in order to incorporate Windows Integrated Authentication.

Follow these steps to enable Windows Authentication on the AssetWise ALIM Web Server.

  1. From the AssetWise ALIM Web Server, open the Add Roles or Features Wizard.
  2. Select Server Roles. A list of server roles appears.
  3. Expand Web Server (IIS), then expand Web Server, and then expand Security .
  4. Select Windows Authentication. For example,
  5. Click Install.
  6. When you are finished, close the Add Roles or Features Wizard.
