Adding Attributes to an Activities Class

You can add additional attributes to an Activities class, if necessary.

Follow these steps to add an attribute to an Activities class.

  1. In the System Administration view, select the Activities node.
  2. Expand the Attributes topic.
  3. Enter an Name for the attribute.
  4. Select a Type from the list.
  5. Save the attribute by clicking the Save icon.
  6. Click the Inheritance Wizard icon. The Class Attribute Inheritance Wizard dialog appears.
  7. Select New child Classes [of the selected class] Inherit this Attribute.
  8. Select Cascade changes down the structure.
  9. Click OK. The Attribute is saved.
  10. Repeat steps 3 to 9 for each attribute that you want to create.
All Activities should display an attributes form in ALIM when an instance is active. Optionally, you can create forms specific to your new classes.
