Adding Attributes to the Asset Class

You can add additional attributes to an Assets class, if necessary.

Follow these steps to add an attribute to an Assets class.

In the System Administration view, select the Tags node.
Expand the Attributes topic.
Enter an Name for the attribute.
Select a Type from the list. For Example,

Note: If Fixed Values type is selected, you will need to add each fixed value.
Save the attribute by clicking the Save icon.
Click the Inheritance Wizard icon. The Class Attribute Inheritance Wizard dialog appears.
Select New child Classes [of the selected class] Inherit this Attribute.
Select Cascade changes down the structure.
Click OK.

The attribute is saved.
