To Check for Schema Generation Updates
This schema
generation engine is installed with each
AssetWise installation. However, from time to time,
updates and patches must be applied. Updates for your installed
AssetWise version can be found in the application
server's
[Deployment_directory]\schema_generator folder . If
one or more updates exist, follow these steps to install them:
- Connect to your AssetWise server using Remote Desktop.
- Open Services.
- Locate the eB Service Manager service in the list.
- Right-click eB Service Manager and select Stop.
- Navigate to the "Engines" folder within your AssetWise server installation folder (i.e., C:\Program Files\Bentley\eB\Server\Engines)
- Locate the most recent update folder, and copy eB.Engine.ECEngine.dll and eB.Engine.ECEngine.pdb to the server installation folder.
- Right-click the eB Service Manager service, and select Start.
