To Configure iTwin Viewer Settings

You can launch the iTwin Viewer application directly from within AssetWise CONNECT Edition. This allows you to view 3D iModels that are linked to a document or asset via an external process, without leaving AssetWise CONNECT Edition. This is accomplished by first defining the attribute scope for Digital Operations viewing, and the base URL for the iTwin Viewer application. Once these settings are defined, the iTwin Viewer may be invoked from an applicable document or asset. Note: This feature only allows you to view 3D iModels through the iTwin Viewer. Editing, commenting, or markup functionality is not available through this feature.

Follow these steps to define the base URL for the iTwin Viewer application.

From the Launchpad, click the Configuration icon ( ). Configuration options appear.
Locate the Application group.
Click System Settings.

The Settings page appears. For example,
From the Navigation menu on the left, select General. A list of previously defined general options appears.
Select The Attribute Scope to use for Digital Operations Viewing and then:
1. From the Actions menu, select Change setting
  
  The Change Setting dialog appears.
2. Enter the Setting Value
3. When you are finished, click Save ( ).
Select Base URL for the iTwinViewer Application and then:
1. From the Actions menu, select Change setting
  
  The Change Setting dialog appears.
2. Enter the Setting Value
3. When you are finished, click Save ( ).

The iTwinViewer application is now linked to AssetWise CONNECT Edition.
