When creating or
relocating the geometry of a line or polygon asset you might want to create a
polygon geometry that shares a common edge with a geometry nearby. You can do
this via the Snapping tool.
Follow these steps to enable snapping on a map.
On the map, select the asset location to which you want to connect
vertices.
Do one of the following:
Create a new asset location by using the
map tools
or
Select the location that you wish to move.
Select
Enable Snapping.
Drag the location toward the location to which you want to
connect, and when two vertices are within grid tolerance, they will connect.
