Contractor Initiated Compensation Events
The following Contractor-initiated Compensation Related communications are recorded in AssetWise:
When a Contractor initiates and issues a Notification of Compensation Event as a result of an Early Warning Notification (EWN), the following occurs:
- Contractor initiates and issues a Notification of Compensation Event (CNCE) form
- Project Manager initiates and issues a reply, on the Project Manager's Response Notification (PMRN) communication, and a draft Project Manager's Implemented Compensation Event Notification (ICE) is created automatically
- If a quote is required, then the Project Manager initiates and issues an instruction to submit quotations, on the PMIQ communication
- Contractor is allowed three weeks to prepare and submit the quotation on the CQT communication
- Project Manager is allowed two weeks to issue a reply to the quotation on the PMRQ communication
- If the quotation is past due, the Contractor receives a Notification of Late Response reminder (CCM)
- If an extension is required for the quotation, the Project Manager notifies the agreed extension of the period of time for a response to be received, via the EXT communication
- Project Manager issues Notification of Assessment (PMA) within three weeks
- Project Manger issues Notification of Implemented Compensation Event (ICE)
