To Enter the Assessed Live Load Limit - Manual Method
For asset types
that support load management, user accounts with the proper authority can
manually add an effective load to an asset. An effective load capacity may also
be created automatically, as result of an activity or event.
Note that an asset may display more than one Assessed Live Load value. For example, this may occur when an Engineer deems that a location or direction has a different capacity, and therefore that value may also be recorded.
Follow these steps to manually add an effective load capacity to an asset.
- Open the asset for which you want to add an effective load.
- Select the Load tab. This tab displays all load management information for the asset.
- From the Actions menu, select Add Effective Load. The Add Effective Load dialog appears.
- Select a Location from the list.
- Select a Direction from the list. Your choices are Decreasing Kilometerage, Increasing Kilometerage, or Both.
- You can enter an Assessment Live Load (ALL) in the box provided.
- You can enter a Eurocode in the box provided.
