To edit an asset's attributes:

1. Click the Start Spatial Edits button and select the network layer for the asset you will be editing. Click Start Spatial Edits..
2. Click the Edit Asset button .
3. On the map, click the asset you want to edit. If, on the spot you click, there is only one network feature (datum or route where the asset can be located), the measure values will be reported against this network type. If there are more than one features at the click position, a Selection Results dialog will pop up for you to select the layer against which the location measures will be reported.

   Click the radio button beside the network feature you want to select and click Select.

   

4. The Asset Details dialog opens. Edit the attributes as required and then click Save.

   

Alternatively, you can edit an asset's attributes by starting spatial editing for the asset layer you will work with, and then navigate to the asset from either a Search or Selection from the map. For example:

Click the Show Details button beside the asset you will edit. The Asset details dialog opens.

Enter or edit the asset attributes as needed, then click Save.
