To Create an Announcement
Note: Announcements are
Scope specific, therefore ensure that the
relevant scopes are visible before you create an announcement.
Follow these steps to create an Announcements card, in ALIM Web.
- From the Menu Bar, select the System Settings icon ( ), and then select Announcements setup. The Announcements page appears.
- Click Add.
- Select the appropriate Type from the list. Your choices are: Red, Green, or Blue.
- Enter a Title for the announcement.
- Enter the Valid from and Valid to dates, for the announcement.

Enter the
Message, for the announcement.
Tip: You can include hyperlinks within the content of your message. For more information, see To Add a Hyperlink to an Announcement.
- When finished, click Save. The announcement is created and will be visible on the Announcements card for the duration of the Valid from to Valid to dates.
- You can refresh the Home page by clicking the Home icon ( ). All current announcements appear on the Announcements card, in the Content pane.
