You can cancel a workflow providing that it has been
approved.
You can follow these steps to cancel workflow.

Open the workflow for which you want to cancel.

From the
Workflow menu, select
Cancel.
The Cancel Workflow window appears.

Enter a reason for canceling the workflow, and then click
Cancel workflow.
The Workflow Status
is set to
"Cancelled", and all work actions are stopped and the
Workflow menu is no longer available. An email is
sent to everyone associated with the workflow, stating that the workflow has
been cancelled and the reason for cancellation.
